A meaningful stop on your journey through Koh Yao Yai. Here, visitors can spend time with two gentle elephants, Bai Bua and Sao Noi, who came from Phuket to live in a peaceful, natural environment.

Our mission goes beyond caring for the elephants. We are committed to creating a sustainable and responsible form of tourism that supports both wildlife welfare and local communities.
We take pride in sharing our profits to benefit nature, the community, and society. Together, we hope to inspire awareness and collective action toward protecting the environment for future generations.

Immerse yourself in a truly local atmosphere and spend time getting to know the elephants and their gentle nature. Watch them enjoy playing in the mud, bathing in the sea, and savoring vitamin balls thoughtfully prepared just for them.
At Koh Yao Elephant Beach, every activity is designed to bring you closer to nature — and to these gentle giants who call this island home. You’ll get to learn about elephants in a way that feels natural and heartwarming — from their unique physical traits and how Asian elephants differ from African ones, to what keeps them strong and happy every day.
And yes, you’ll get your hands a little dirty — in the best way. You’ll help prepare vitamin balls filled with nutrients, feed them their favorite fruits, and join them in their favorite moment of the day — bathing in the sea.

Mixing Vitamin Balls
Mixing vitamin balls is a hands-on activity that helps visitors learn about elephant nutrition and the natural foods elephants need for their daily health. All ingredients are sourced from natural resources and include rice, bananas, salt, tamarind, charcoal, pumpkins, and sugar.
Rice and bananas are commonly used as supplements or treats. Elephants also require minerals such as sodium, calcium, and magnesium, which are provided through natural salts. Tamarind helps relieve bloating and supports digestion as a natural prebiotic, while charcoal aids in absorbing toxins. Pumpkins are rich in vitamins and fiber, contributing to overall digestive health.

Elephants are our family. We treat them like our family members.
