We are local caretakers who look after elephants originally from Phuket, Thailand. When we saw that Koh Yao Yai offers abundant natural resources suitable for elephant nutrition, we decided to relocate the elephants from an elephant sanctuary in Phuket to their new home at Koh Yao Island Safari, which now serves as their shelter while they stay on the island.

Since moving here, the elephants have shown signs of being more relaxed and content. Living close to the sea and having access to better-quality natural food and supplements has supported their overall well-being.

This place has become their new home.
